From Activity Tracking
to
Showing Evidence of Impact
Clarity-to-Impact® is a registered methodology used by professionals across UN agencies, international NGOs, government programmes and foundations
You're Busy Saving the World. Can You Prove It?
You've delivered projects. Written reports. Ticked every donor or compliance box.
But can you prove you changed anything?
Most organisations can't.
They count workshops. Track reach. Report activities. But when it's time to show real impact?
Silence.
You're Not Alone in This Struggle
→ Your reports overflow with data, but lack the story of change
→ Your team collects everything, but can't explain what it means
→ Your "learning sessions" happen, then gather dust
→ Donors ask "what changed?" and you scramble for answers
There js a difference between being busy for the sake of being busy and being impactful.
And without proof of real change, your funding, credibility, and mission are at risk.
Introducing the Clarity-to-Impact® Programmme
That’s why I created and trademarked the Clarity-to-Impact® Programme.
After a decade of working across UN agencies, INGOs and foundations, I formalised this methodology into what is now the Clarity-to-Impact® Framework, a registered trademark that distils the essentials of strong, practical Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning.
It is a virtual programme to help both individuals and organisations move beyond activity tracking, to demonstrating real results.
The Clarity-to-Impact® Programme is built on three pillars, TIP:
Transformation (because at the end of it, both you and your work will be changed)
Inclusivity (with gender, disability, and neurodiversity at the core) and
Practicality (Real tools. Zero jargon. Immediate application).
Clarity-to-Impact® Pro (for Individuals)
This is not a course. It’s a transformation.
Most MEL courses transfer knowledge.
This one builds confidence. No more anxiety and panic around Monitoring and Evaluation. You finally get peace of mind.
Over six months, you’ll be guided through five transformation stages, applying the tools to your real projects, supported by a global community of peers and expert facilitation.
Each step turns theory into practice.
Stages Your Transformation
Month 1: Reframe Stop counting activities. Start tracing change.
Month 2: Design Build your bulletproof Theory of Change
Month 3: Measure Design your MEL Framework (with indicators, baselines, targets)
Month 4: Evidence Select methods that capture unexpected as well as “hard-to-measure” outcomes like confidence
Month 5: Learn & Communicate Turn data into insights that drive decisions and win funding
Month 6: Integrate Lock in your complete, working MEL system

Clarity-to-Impact® Org (for Teams & Organisations)
Most organisations struggle with scattered indicators, inconsistent reporting, and MEL systems that grow messy over time. The Clarity-to-Impact® Organisational Programme gives your teams a registered, structured methodology for designing clear outcomes, harmonising indicators, and building MEL practices that support strategic decisions, not just compliance.
This is a 6 month organisational transformation, not a training package that includes:
To maintain quality and ensure focused support, I onboard a maximum of two organisations per cohort cycle. Learn more about the organisational track and how to apply here.

Anyone who can’t commit 4–6 hours per month for applied learning.
-
Those expecting passive consumption instead of active practice.

What professionals are saying
“After years of reporting numbers, this was the first time my team could clearly show why those numbers mattered.”
— Panorama Global participant, 2025 Cohort
“We used to think impact was something the donor defined. Now we have a shared understanding internally of what success really looks like.”
— UNOY Peacebuilders team
Why Leading Organisations Trust the Clarity-to-Impact® Programme
✓ Proven track record with the last cohort sold out days in advance
✓ Major institutions such as UNDP, World Bank and various foundations enrolling their grantees
✓ Global reach with participants from 40 countries across 20 sectors in the last cohort.
What Is Expected from You If You Join
The Clarity-to-Impact® Programme is designed for serious practitioners and organisations who want to move beyond activity tracking and achieve real transformation. That means:
-
Planning to spend 4–6 hours per month engaging with live virtual sessions, peer discussions, and applying the tools to your own work.
-
This is not a “sit back and watch” programme. You’ll be expected to bring your MEL challenges into the group and apply the exercises to real situations.
-
Transformation happens step by step. You don’t need to be an expert before joining, but you do need to show up and keep moving forward.
-
The programme thrives when members share, exchange feedback, and learn together. Passive “lurkers” rarely get the full value.
-
You’ll have milestones and check-ins. If you commit, you’ll see results, but only if you engage.
👉 In short: this programme works if you work it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When does the programme begin?
The next cohort for the Clarity-to-Impact® Programme for individuals begins in February 2026 with a Kick off call in late January 2026.

👉 If you want to join, you must secure your seat by 9 January 2026.
What makes the Clarity-to-Impact® Programme unique?
The M&E field is often weighed down by jargon and over-complicated tools.
This is because most MEL experts can teach frameworks but can’t translate them.
They mistake complexity for credibility, the denser the jargon, the more “serious” they think they sound.
We flip the script.
We know that that being accessible isn’t the opposite of being rigorous, it’s the highest form of rigor.
Because simplifying without dumbing down requires real mastery (that took us years to hone).
So while others cling to theory, we speak to application.
We take a straightforward, neuro-diversity-inclusive approach to M&E, ensuring that everyone on your team can grasp the concepts and apply them with ease. We'll give you a roadmap that turns complexity into clear, actionable results.
Clarity-to-Impact® is also a protected, registered framework.
It offers a consistent, proven structure that professionals across UN agencies, INGOs, foundations and government programmes can apply with confidence.
This is not “another MEL training.”
It is a formalised approach you can rely on.
In other programmes you leave with certificates.
At the end of the Clarity-to-Impact® Programme you leave with confidence and peace of mind. Monitoring and Evaluation will no longer scare you.
What happens after I join?
Once you secure your seat in the Clarity-to-Impact® Programme:
-
You’ll receive a confirmation email with details on how to access the member area, and what to prepare before we begin.
-
You'll be invited to a kick off meeting with your fellow practitioners where we set goals and outline the journey
-
Each month you’ll participate in live group coaching calls where we work through the 5 transformation stages together.
-
You’ll gain access to exclusive templates, exercises, and recordings to apply between sessions.
-
By the end of 6 or the 12 months, you’ll have a working MEL framework and receive recognition as a Clarity-to-Impact™ Practitioner.
How is the programme structured?
You’ll experience a blend of:
-
Live group virtual sessions of 2 hours (facilitated by Ann-Murray Brown) to guide you through each stage.
-
Self-paced online modules via a Learning Management System/platform
-
Practical exercises you’ll apply directly to your own organisational context.
-
Exclusive tools and templates to help you design and test your MEL framework.
-
Peer learning through interactive discussions and feedback.
The programme is highly practical and hands-on. You won’t just hear about MEL theory, you’ll work with Ann directly to apply the tools to your real challenges and walk away with a functioning MEL system you can use.
What time are the live sessions held?
Live sessions are typically held between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM Central European Time (CET) to accommodate participants across multiple time zones. Specific dates and session times will be confirmed in advance via email.
What if I’m in a different time zone? Will I miss out?
All live sessions are hosted in the afternoon CET, a time chosen to work well for most participants across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. If you’re in Asia-Pacific or another region where the time is less convenient, you’ll still be fully included: recordings of each session are shared, and we host an active discussion space where you can ask questions and get feedback.
In some cases, if there’s a strong group from a particular region, we schedule an additional session that fits your time zone. Our goal is to make the programme as inclusive as possible, while keeping it manageable and energising for everyone.
What day of the week are sessions held?
Live sessions are typically held on weekdays (never on a Friday). The exact day is confirmed in advance so you can plan around it.
Is the programme the same as the M&E Academy?
No. The Academy was about access to resources and knowledge . The Clarity-to-Impact™ Programme is a structured, guided journey with milestones, accountability, and recognition. Think of it as a professional training programme and tailored support.
What is the refund policy?
Enrollment is a fixed-term commitment (6 months). Because this is a live, guided programme, we don’t offer refunds. This policy ensures that everyone who joins is fully committed to engaging and completing the journey.
Are there any scholarships available?
At the moment there are no scholarships available.
Do I need to be an MEL expert to join?
It's for everyone.
Your job title does not have to say “M&E”, as long as you are somehow involved in measuring and reporting on the outcomes of an intervention or programme, the programme is for you. Regardless of where you are in your career, whether you're just starting out or a seasoned M&E professional, you're welcome. No prior M&E knowledge is required to be part of our programme. Even if you're already an M&E expert, you may learn something new.
Will I get one-on-one time with Ann?
The programme is delivered in group format. Organisations can book one on one consulting calls through the Org plan.
What is NOT covered in the programme?
-
It does not teach Randomised Control Trials (RCTs) or other statistical experimental designs.
-
It does not touch on data analysis or advanced statistical software or coding.
The Clarity-to-Impact™ Programme is facilitated by Ann-Murray Brown, international MEL consultant and founder of the M&E Academy, with 20+ years of experience advising OECD, UN, EU, foundations and national governments.
